My Mac OS is in English, but most of the .txt files I get from people are work are in Chinese (in Taiwan and all), so a lot of files I get from them are actually jibberish (actual jibberish, not just because I can barely read Chinese):

So apparently, I can just right click on the file and click one of these:
And voila!
Not jibberish, I might not be able to read some of it (I kid, I can read those words), but at least Google Translate understands them now.
Don’t ask what those words are about. It probably makes no sense, if you don’t know the context.
