Playing with Stitch and Autodesk Photofly (http://labs.autodesk.com/utilities/photo_scene_editor/). Basically, you take pictures of an object at every 10 degrees (my sis used the panorama function of her Canon HS digital camera), and then you upload the pictures to the Autodesk Photofly cloud, and it perform its magic, and then sends you an email to inform you that it has finished turning your photos into a 3D mesh, which you can still edit (if you want) in the Autodesk Photo Scene Editor. You can even define an animation path (pan, orbit, zoom etc. on your model) and export a video, which you can upload to YouTube. I think you can even manipulate the 3D model using design software.
It is soooo awesome!
